Can't switch on double-tap for Apple pencil (2nd generation)

When I bought Apple pencil I have switched off double-tap because I was accidentally using it. So I decided to try it later. But now I can't switch it on.

My flow: Go to Settings-> Apple Pencil -> Double-tap is "Off" -> Choose any other option except "Off" -> Try to make a double-tap on pencil -> It does'n work.

If I will reopen Settings - I will see that Double-tap is "Off" again.

I have tried to reconnect the apple pencil by Bluetooth several times - it doesn't help.

Maybe somebody had such kind of problem and can advise something?

My devices:

Apple pencil (2nd generation)
iPad Pro 11 2018

iPad Pro, iPadOS 13

Hello,

Try resetting iPad's settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.
