Add a Hyperlink in Pages for MacBook

I am trying to add a link to my LinkedIn profile to my resume in Pages. There is something on the Insert menu, but it is all grayed out. Any help its appreciated. It should be so simple, but I can't figure it out.

I have googled the problem and followed the instructions but the link insert still remains greyed out. New internet link replaces current tab instead of creating a new I run macOS latest version. I am new to Safari, used Edge before. When clicking on a bookmark in Edge it opens a new tab which is kept until I close it. In Safari it replaces the current link in the tab. I would like an Internet address regardless och opened with a bookmark och manually entered address to be kept in a new tab. Is this possible?

Change the setting for hyperlink formatting Since installing macOS Big Sur, every time I paste a link, it is automatically formatted as the page title of the link destination. I prefer a plain-text link, but I have to manually reformat the link to text only every time. I am looking for a way to change the link format settings (across applications, i.e. not only in Word or Mail, but as a general setting). Any way to change the default setting for how hyperlinks are formatted?

Highlight the text where you want that LinkedIn URL, and press ⌘+K to open the Link inspector. Paste the linked in URL in it, press return, and click outside of the Link inspector to close it. The link will not be active until you export as PDF.
