Overcharged

I used Apple Pay at a petrol station (gas station) today, paying at the pump.

Before it pumps you have to "approve" the card and it takes a "deposit".

When I'd finished pumping it billed me for the full "deposit" when I actually used about 30% of it.

The attendant didn't have a clue. I used "report issue" from within wallet but have not heard anything back. Basically I have been overcharged by around $35...... I have the paper receipt.

Any ideas how I get my money back??

Thanks for replying and I hope you're right..... so far no notification of credit from anywhere, and no reply from the report sent via "report issue" at Apple. I can't afford to throw money away like that so I hope it gets sorted.... and don't know who is at fault if it doesn't..... Apple? The petrol station (Caltex) or my bank? Starting to realise Cash is King!
