Can't Sync iCloud photos on my MacBook

I recently logged out of iCloud in my MacBook and logged in again. I noticed photos were not enabled in iCloud and that I no longer had a photo library. which I had before doing this. I tried to enable iCloud photos, it asks me the password, I put it (and it is right) but nothing happens. The box was supposed to tick blue like the others. Can someone help me sync my iCloud photo's with my MacBook?

PS: I don't use time machine

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

Nevermind, I figured it out. I just had to create a new library and then photos>preferences>general> make it the system default library, then photos> preferences>iCloud and sync.
