IPAD Factory Reset

I have forgotten my passcode for my IPAD. I want to reset the IPAD to original factory settings. I have tried the restore feature from iTunes but it has not worked. I do not need to retain any data. Can anyone advise how to do a reset without ITUNES and without the passcode?

You can’t. You must either access the device using your passcode - and erase from the Settings App - or use an external computer with iTunes (PC) or Finder (Mac).


As you clearly have access to a PC/Mac, perhaps this help page and associated procedures will help:
