BBEdit or Sublime Text are among the Notepad++ analogs, though there are other options.
What fits best depends on what you’re looking to do with Notepad++.
Which we don’t yet know.
So... what are you working toward here, with Notepad++?
If you require Notepad++, you’ll want to install and boot Microsoft Windows.

Hello,
Applications affixed with ++ are often iOS/iPadOS applications that have been illegally cracked and reproduced. Macintosh computers cannot run iOS/iPadOS applications. You have posted this question in the Classic Mac OS Community which implies you are attempting to install the application on a Macintosh computer made before the mid 1990s. These Macintosh models cannot run any modern software what so ever.

How to Use this While Booted In macOS:
Being the Notepad ++ is a Windows-Only program...
Run this Through a Virtual Machine:
Consider using a Virtual Machine(VM) for this program (Windows-in-a-window). You would open and user Notepad ++ right off of that.
All would be accessed and would operate as desired on the VM. Virtual Machine applications include VMWare Fusion and Parallels. Learn more here: What Is a Virtual Machine? - VMWare Support.
At work many people like Microsoft Visual Studio for macOS
https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/vs/mac/
It apparently has a gazillion plug-ins, including Notepad++ (or close enough that Windows users at work stop complaining).
Of course why you wouldn't use Vim or emacs is a mystery 😇
Notepad++ is a Windows program: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/
