iPad will not let me download google chrome, still on phone and have been for 1 hour 20 minutes with support who don’t know the answer , does anyone have insight on what should be rudimentary task ?
Google Chrome requires iOS 12 or later. Do you satisfy this requirement?

I am very confused. What does iTunes have to do with getting Google Chrome on your iPad? Are you not simply obtaining the Google Chrome app from the iPad’s App Store?
You should detail for us all the steps you are performing, including software version numbers of any software involved.
Hello Michel, ipad 7 , keep receiving message about never logging into iTunes with this user I’d , spoke with 4 different people even asked the taboo question to walk me through how to log into iTunes for the first time so this preventative message to perform a common task would not appear
looks like a bug to me.
Agree with you, usual way of installing any app, spoke to 4 techs in period just shy of 2 hours went through process with each one, they did not have an answer why either appears to be a bug, overall have tried 20 plus times it simple does not work as silly iTunes message keeps appearing
