Facetime not ringing on my mac.

Facetime on my mac does not ring when someone calls me. I have wifi calling on my iPhone and in the Facetime app on my mac. I can make phones out but I don't get them in. It was working for a long time and i just recently discovered that it isn't anymore. Not sure what the issue is.

Hello Dgoldfe13,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that you're not receiving FaceTime calls on your Mac. I can see how this could be concerning. I'm happy to help.

If you haven't already, make sure that your Mac has the latest software and that you've got a strong internet connection.

How to update the software on your Mac

Also, make sure Do Not Disturb has not been enabled and all FaceTime notification settings are accurate.

If the issue persists, it is that possible FaceTime is off. When FaceTime has been turned off you won't receive notifications for calls and to the caller it will appear that you're not answering. While in FaceTime, choose FaceTime > Turn FaceTime On.

Let us know the results. Does this occur while connected to a different network? Please include specific error messages and any other troubleshooting steps that you may have tried.

Have a nice day!
