Question

iPad Pro 11 - Keyboard/cover (space bar), blue boxes

Suddenly when I connect my keyboard/cover to the iPad I get blue boxes everywhere on my screen. The point of the boxes seems to be to highlight selections. Then when I use the space bar (for some reason), the selections are made.

First question: How can I get rid of that and go back to the normal way of just using my finger to touch the screen to make selections?

Second question: Why does the iPad (external) keyboard space bar not work for filling out pdf forms now?

I understand that you’re having some trouble navigating your iPad when the keyboard is connected, and I'm happy to help. It sounds like you may have Switch Control enabled. Here are instructions for turning it off:

Unfortunately the section for switch control shows off. I’ve been trying to reset it via switch control but I can’t turn it off as it already appears to be so.
