Google Duo is not compatible with this iPad

While trying to install Google Duo, I'm getting message Unable to Purchase "Google Duo" is not compatible with this iPad. Can some one help me on this.

iPad mini, iOS 9

If your signature line is correct, and you are using iOS 9, that would be the reason, as the App requires iOS 11 or higher.

Your iPad mini (1st generation) cannot update past iOS 9.3.5 of iOS 9.3.6.

You need a newer iPad model.

The reason: the app requires iOS 11.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
