Can multiple airpods be connected to Apple TV?

My wife and I would like to watch TV without waking up our infant. Can two pairs of airpods be connected?

Apple TV 4K, tvOS 13

That is not actually true, with the latest Bluetooth profiles it does support multiple units by the hardware also has to support it with multiple radios.

Hi. No, you cannot. Bluetooth only supports one headphone or speaker at a time. This is part of the Bluetooth protocol. Sorry.
