Macbook Air 2019 30w charger for iPhone 11

Hi, I own a MacBook Air 2019 and recently I acquired an iPhone 11. Since the iPhone came with the old-school 5W charger, I was wondering whether I could use the MacBook Air's out-of-the-box 30W charger to achieve fast charging capability on my iPhone 11? I already own a lightning to usb-c cable which I bought separately.

Thanks! I actually tried it in the meantime and I didn't see much of a difference. I started charging my iPhone 11 via the MacBook Air 2019 charger when its battery status was at 24%. It took about 2 hours to get to 90% via the new charger. Is that expected?
