Is a Roland FP 90 compatible with the latest iteration of MainStage?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.13

Yes. You can use the USB MIDI to control Mainstage from the FP-90. BTW, the FP-90 has a wonderful keyboard and the onboard sounds are quite good.
