Unable to activate

After the new update of ios I can't use my iPhone 11 - a message appeared - Unable to activate, An update is required to activate your iPhone. I tried all the steps on the web, tried through itunes, but notiing happens. What should I do?

Please look at this --> If you can't activate your iPhone - Apple Support

If you are the owner or the owner has shared all information with you then to open Activation Lock:- If it is Activation locked, read here --> Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support Activation Lock for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support


Learn how to remove a device from a previous owner's account.


If you are not the owner and do not have the Apple ID and Password then there is no way that you can get into this iPhone unless the original owner shares the Apple ID and password with you. If you are lucky you can get into this iPhone if they (owner) accidentally remove the device from their apple ID.

Shutdown phone remove / reinsert SIM and check if you have a signal.


Try putting phone in recovery mode and doing a restore (bear in mind data will be erased) / activation whilst connected to computer.

If problems persist see if you activate using WiFi or mobile if not probably best to contact the carrier if you have a locked phone or Apple support.

I still can't use my iphone 11. Yesterday I couldn't receive phones and messages and I started the new ios update, After it has finished, an error message appeared on my desktop, I tried all the steps, my itunes is with the latest version, tried to finish the update through itunes, but nothing happened, after that I erased all the content and settings and Tried to activate it but after I choose the region, the language and connect it with the wifi, a message appear - Unable to activate, An update is required to activate your iPhone. I can't do anythign else that shut it down. What should I do?

I did everything you suggested, after all on itunes appeared this message - The iphone "iphone" could not be activated because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000014). And on my iphone the same message - Unable to activate, An update is required to activate your iPhone. Does all that mean I need to go to the local store and ask for help there... chaning my device or so,mething else?
