Blank screen of death

my macbook air was showing on the screen that it was dead and i went to charge it to turn it back on again and now theres just a black screen and it wont even show that its dead or anything there’s absolutely nothing but a black screen. This is a macbook air 2018 with the touch id. Somebody help
