Combining/Merging two apple ids

All,

Is there a way I could two merge apple ids?

example :

Phone1 : apple id : <apple1.gmail.com> / having upgraded space of 50GB space (iphone 11)

Phone2: apple id: <apple2.yahoo.com> / having free space of 5GB (iphone7)

I want to merge these to id's to <apple1.gmail.com>.

I dont want to lose any data of Phone 2 and want all data (including whatsapp ) be transferred to Phone 1.

Note: Phone 1 and Phone 2 uses the same whatsapp number

Really appreciate your help on this

No, there is no way to merge Apple IDs. You could create a new Apple ID, but the result might not be satisfactory to you. Be very cautious before you do so; the information below may not solve your problem completely enough.

See, for phone 1, How to create a new Apple ID https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204316 See the data implications below.

Some of these things will apply to your situation even if you are not changing your Apple ID: What to do after you change your Apple ID or password https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204071

Keep in mind that some things available under a first Apple ID will not be available under a new Apple ID. For example, you won’t be able to transfer anything purchased from the App and iTunes Stores to the new ID. And, there are other issues to be addressed.

You also may be able set up family sharing between the IDs to share purchases made with them. See:

When changing to the new ID, there may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos and/or in Photos/Preferences/iCloud. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device/computer. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. Messages conversations will be lost if they are addressed to the ID. See the article below for other places that the old ID should be removed. See Winston Churchill's response in the below discussion. Also set up Family Sharing to keep access to your apps/purchases.

I see what your link is now. It's pretty hard not to duplicate some things sometimes especially if a link (or links) are given that don't give much information about what is being linked. Also, sometimes not duplicating something would reduce an answer's coherence. I just ignore it if someone duplicates something in my posts. I just assume each is trying to do their best in providing the best answer they know how to make. When I make a special point of not duplicating, I often reference what others already have said.
