Trying to restore from Time Machine

I have successfully downgraded from Mojave to El Capitain .

Before I erased my HD I did a back up.

When I look at restore from back up the OS for the last back is obviously showing as Mojave

My questions are .. Will it try to install Mojave . Will it overwrite El Capitain , Will it Work ?
