Does the iPad support 144hz Monitors?

I know that iPads have 120hz displays built in but If you connect it a 144hz monitor will it be at that refresh rate or will it be at 60hz.

iPad pro natively supports only 60/120Hz. As such, it is unlikely to support higher screen refresh rates.
