Bootcamp Installation

It’s not letting me continue installation from here. I have downloaded Bootcamp before, but recently deleted it due to problems.

The error message indicates some type of storage device is connected.

  • Quit the installer
  • Check and remove all external storage
  • Run SMC and NVRAM Reset
  • Boot into macOS, and re-run BC Assistant, and click on Remove/Restore
    • If it fails, post the output of diskutil list from macOS Terminal, else,
    • Quit BCA, re-run BCA, and try to install Windows.

I got everything set up again, thank you!

Excellent!

Could you answer my question to if resetting smc and nvram could fix lag issues in the future? Like unresponsive applications and etc.

A SMC/NVRAM Reset is not intended to resolve all issues. It can address a few issues which are related to software-hardware interaction.
