Screen flickering in Macbook pro 2016

so my MacBook has this weird issue. When i used my device for more than half an hour or an hour, the screen starts to flicker around top menu bar area. And when i shutdown the system for an hour and open it it disappears for sometime and the issue starts again.

I contacted apple service regarding this and was told to show it to apple authorised repair centre which i did, however the fixing cost is around NZ $1200 which is too expensive.

Has anyone experienced the similar issue in their MacBook Pro? I heard apple has "flexgate" program in which they'll replace the screen free of cost, does this issue comes under the flexgate?

I'm worried that the issue will evolve more and will happen to my whole display rather than just being it to top bar.

Looking for some expert opinion regarding the troubleshoot.

bro I am having the same problem my display starts flickering after one hour of watching videos or playing games and as I stop stop the playback of video this problem stops.

see this is how my screens flicker while watching videos only.

do your problem got solved?
