iTunes !mark against all my files

Question

iTunes !mark against all my files

when i opened iTunes all my files have ! marks in front of them and will not play i have not made any changes to my system .can anyone help

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

The exclamation marks means iTunes cannot find the iTunes Library. You could try starting iTunes while holding the option key, then reselecting the iTunes Library.
