Hi! About a week ago, I accidently deleted an important text. Is there a way to get it back. I am not tech savvy, so basic wording would be helpful.

Assuming you don't house your messages in iCloud (you would likely know if you do), messages are saved on your latest iPhone backup. Restore that backup to retrieve all messages (and other data) that were present when the backup was created.

Hopefully you do back up your iPhone. Otherwise, the messages are gone.
