I have put together a 16-minute slideshow with photos, video and music in Photo. When I play the slideshow preview in Photo, it is perfect.
However, when I export the file, the videos in the slideshow become choppy. I've tried everything ... closing all other programs, etc.
Any help? Could it be that I am just using a machine that can't handle the task? I'm using a MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010) running High Sierra.

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you're having some issues exporting a slideshow. Since the issue is not happening in the Photos app when you preview the slideshow, I recommend you check out this article with steps for How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac to create a new user and test the issue in the new account to see if the issue is user specific or system wide.
I also suggest checking out this article to Export photos, videos, and slideshows to see if exporting in a different resolution (480p, 720p or 1080p) resolves the issue.
