my iPhone is controlling itself

My iPhone XR is controlling itself. It keeps opening the apps on its own, and opening new and old tabs in safari and opening messages from my friends etc. What do I do, as I cannot go to the apple store because of lock down?

That sounds like a failing touchscreen. I would suggest using the contact support link at the top of the page to contact Apple directly for help with this.

Thanks for the reply, I have spoken to them, and I am having to send it away for repair.
