recorder plus - iPhone 6s

I am trying to use the Recorder Plus on my iPhone 6s. By fumbling around with it, I was able to record some music and I could name, save and listen to it. However, I cannot go any further. How do I start a new recording? How do I move from the page of the song back to the start page of the recorder? I have looked all through Support and can't find anything there or in the Manual. Is there a detailed how-to book or website?
