Is this a problem with Safari? when I try another browser it works.

Not necessarily a problem with Safari, could be a problem that the website designers have not factored in
that some people use Safari. Often you find this in govt websites where everything is done to the bare minimum,
in the guise of protecting the public purse.

Yes I know, my answer was about the website designers not factoring in that a lot of people use Safari.
When creating webpages you have to allow for the fact that people use different browsers and some
designers may have been given a budget that will only allow some of the more familiar browsers access
to the site they are designing.
