Have watch series 2 went to update the watch and phone , it is asking for Apple ID that I first setup the watch with , I don’t remember it . So now I have a watch I can’t use . How do I fix the problem if I can’t remember the passcode ?

You can't fix the problem without the apple id that setup the watch,the watch is activation locked and requires that apple id to remove it;
