MacBook Pro 13 Inches 2020 Model

Hi all,

Its been 2 days I purchased the new MacBook Pro 2020 13 inches model. I was using MacBook Air 2017 13 inches earlier.

I noticed. that this pro model is draining a lot of battery as compared to the MacBook Air that I had. I just charged it to 99% and within couple hours its 60% now. Also, even if I am not using it, the battery is all drained in the sleep mode. Can somebody please suggest me or let me know if they are having the same problem?

Thanks

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

2 days is hardly enough to let a new computer settle in.

Perhaps this is a Faulty Device?

If the above link is of no success, then contact Apple Support, and have them take a look at your Mac.

You have a one-year out-of-the-box limited-warranty. So make use of it, if you have the option.

Apple would send you a box; you'd ship the Mac out to them; they'll ship it back to you fixed anew. My 2017 battery is what drained the most.
