Selecting non-adjacent text in Pages

Hello!

Re-starting this discussion.

I am changing colours of subheading on various pages. So there are 2 questions:

  1. How do I edit a template's colour scheme?
  2. How do I select text that is not adjacent (eg. headings on various pages), like I could do in MS Word?

  1. You create a new document with that template, edit the colors to your taste, and then save that template with a new name under your custom templates.
  2. Non-contiguous text selection has not existed in Pages for nearly six years. You will find a great many features that are in Word due to its 35 year corporate evolution — that are not available in Pages.

Your smart *** answers are only partially helpful.

  1. Seems you need more specifics - how do I edit the "master" heading colour in Pages (in the right hand sidebar), so that I do not need to edit each heading manually.
  2. It's not about length of time in existence - it's the fact that Pages is not made for business efficiency, and instead maybe for creatives. Sadly, Pages is a pathetic representation of what Apple can do.
