When I plug in my Apple TV, it won’t boot. It gets stuck on the Apple logo. I tried to troubleshoot it with iTunes, but iTunes won’t recognize the device. What’s the issue and how can I fix this?

- Take note that some models need to be separately powered, and others not.
- Take note that the USB cable that you use, has full functionality, i.e. fit for data transfer, not just a charging cable.

Well to me i sounds like it has failed, please remember it is now over 8 years old so it may be time to replace it. If you are in the US, Apple had the Apple TV 4 available in their refurbished store for $149. Of course these refurbs are not always available so if you are interested please look quickly.
