Mac Book Pro 13 inch -2017 charging ports faulty is there any solution?

The charging port on my MacBook Pro 13 inch 2017 model seems to be faulty. It is not charging my laptop. is there any solution for this.

Try using another USB-C port especially on the other side of the laptop if you have the Touchbar model.


Try an SMC reset.


Unplug the charger from the electrical outlet for a minute to reset the charger's internal circuitry. Also try using another electrical outlet.

If none of this helps, then you will need to get the laptop repaired. Click the "Contact Support" link at the top right of this page for your options. In some regions it may be possible to mail the laptop to Apple for the repair.
