Lost important NOTE

Have a backup of phone in icloud from yesterday, but is the only way to retrieve this backup is to clear the phone and restore? Thanks

I'm trying to access my icloud backup online I have lost a note that hasn't been deleted but the text has gone. I've tried accessing my back up on icloud.com but it wont show the lost note. Yes. In order to restore from the iCloud backup, you will need to restore your iPhone and set up your device using the backup.
