Apple ID Balance Not Working

I’m trying to buy something that costs 4.99$ and I have 21.06$ on my Apple ID balance. I’ve bought things before but for some reason this isn’t working. It’s an in-game purchase that I’m trying to buy. When I click on it says payment information required, and then makes me add another form of payment, when I just want to pay with my Apple ID balance. Please help.

Apple ID balance not working i have $10 balance in my apple id, but it’s not letting me use it. Apple ID Balance So I can see that my Apple ID Balance is $20.01, but I cannot use it as a payment method to purchase an app. Yes I have gone into my Apple ID settings, but it will not let me edit my payment methods. I have tried to edit my payment methods on a browser as opposed to on my iPhone and it does not even show that your Apple ID Balance can be used as a payment method. I spent money on this store credit and all I want to do is buy fucking Minecraft, yet it is ridiculousy complicated just to make a simple purchase. If I have to deal with more bullshit like this I'm happily switching to Android. - A customer

You can add the other payment method. Normally, all purchases are withdrawn starting with the account balance. The credit card is only charged when the account balance reaches zero.
