ipad screen share?
Is there an app available or setting in the IPad that I can use to remotely access my Mom's IPad? She lives in another state, has never owned a smart phone.
Screen sharing, or remote control, is not natively supported by iOS/iPadOS. Apps are available to remotely access other desktop computers (such as PC or Mac), but not to access and remotely control iOS/iPadOS devices.
The best option I have discovered to attempt a remote support session is to use FaceTime. Whilst you cannot remotely operate the called device, if also using a similar device, you can “talk through” a sequence or problem on your own screens whilst keeping the FaceTime call running in the background.
