I started family sharing and the next day I noticed a number of albums that I had previously downloaded to my phone were gone. This is music I purchased on CD, ripped and downloaded from my iMac.
I had to turn off family sharing, iCloud and just about everything else and then sync with my iMac to get my music back. It looks like 341 songs were deleted.
Any ideas why this would happen? Can I really not have my music and use family sharing?

Where is your CD Based music stored? Is it still in your iTunes Music Library there?
It was on my phone and my iMac. Not sure where "there" is. As I said, it was deleted from the phone (my Library). I had to restore from my iMac.
