Application document backup

How do I backup application documents to the cloud for applications like GoodNotes and Procreate? Does the automatic backup from the iPad settings save this data? Can I backup those files? If so, how do I do it so that I can restore after device reset to factory default settings? Basically I would like a device imaging capability to backup and restore.

Hello,

If you are backing up your iPad through iCloud or through a Macintosh/Windows PC then all of your iPad’s contents and settings will be backed up. You can also manually back up each application’s data if they support the Files application. If you were to open the Files application > Look to see if your desired application has a folder. If so then you can duplicate the folder or copy the folder to an external storage device.
