I have a iPad mini from 2012, and I'm not here to upgrade the iPad or anything. I'm just trying to find a case for it that will fit it. And since there is little to no cases for an iPad mini, is there other iPad mini cases that can fit it (i.e. iPad 2 or iPad 3, etc.)?

iPad mini’s design was changed between the 1st and 2nd generation. Only cases designed for the iPad mini (1st generation) will work on an iPad mini (1st generation).
Should be able to find these on Amazon.
Case makers have adapted their iPad Mini case designs to accommodate ALL iPad Mini models.
Looks like plenty of 2012 iPad Mini 1 cases on Amazon.
I got a hit for, at least, a dozen, or so.
