powerbeats pro causing skin problems and drainage inside of ears

I see a bunch of customers have had the same issue with using the power beat pros. It's causing rashes behind the ears and drainage inside the ears. I received mine as a Christmas present. I used them a few times and I started getting dry skin and itching behind the ears. I noticed drainage also inside the ears. I clean them every time I used them since it's a habit I have always had with any earbuds.

I figured it was my skin being dry from the cold weather and went to the doctor a few times. They prescribed a fungal ointment to see if it would help. I would apply it twice a day and it wasn't helping. I finally called back and she sent me to a dermatologist. They gave me some other ointments to apply to my ears.

I stopped using them for a month, since I've been at home due to the pandemic. I started doing some research and I saw that so many have complained about this issue. I had my wife use them for half a day and she had the same issue.

I don't know if it's the material they are using for the earbuds that's causing this. I have tried to contact apple support via chat and I can't seem to find anywhere I can send feedback via email to beats or apple.

Has anyone had success reaching out to apple about this issue?
