names auto cap ALL letters

certain names change to ALL CAPS when I type them in Text Messages i.e Jennifer to JENNIFER I’ve tried setting the word as a text switch where when I type JENNIFER it switches to Jennifer, but alas Jennifer remains JENNIFER! Its hard to send endearing texts when it looks like I’m yelling at her. (I’ve also turned off auto caps but the problem stands)

I have never seen that but I would do Settings, General, Reset, Reset keyboard dictionary.

Try to turn off Auto-Capitalization. go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Auto-Capitalization.

Didn’t work. When texting, names always default to all caps. Even after deleting and retyping. Sometimes takes several tries before it allows me to choose the way I’ve typed it. Maddening.
