DFU mode to connect iTunes. The device will not connect whatsoever. The computer does not recognised the device and says the sub malfunctioned. The cable is not faulty as I can connect other iPhones. The USB ports are not faulty either. The computer is running on latest updates and the iTunes is newly downloaded. What is the solution
If the iPhone is in recovery mode the passcode doesn't matter. Try it on another computer if you can if you get the same results you probably have a hardware problem with the phone. Click on the Contact Support link at the top right to start the service process.
Is this on a PC? What version of iTunes are you using and have you tried all ports?
Yes it is on a PC and the iTunes is the latest version. I have tried all the ports. My iPhone is just not being detected by the iTunes because the passcode is disabled probably. But I am stuck and this situation is really annoying.
