Reminders are slow to clear across devices
I have an Early 2015 MacBook Pro running macOS Catalina 10.15.4 and the new iPhone SE running iOS 13.4.1. Ever since updating the Reminders app to the new version in iOS 13 and macOS Catalina, my Reminders notifications no longer quickly clear after marking them as completed. I thought maybe it was a bug but it has not improved with all the updates to iOS 13 so far. On iOS 12, I could have my iPad Air (now on iOS 12 and no longer compatible with the new Reminders app), old iPhone SE and my MacBook showing the Reminders notifications on their screens and no matter which device I would use to mark the Reminders notification as completed, it would quickly disappear on the other devices; usually within a few seconds. That no longer happens. When iOS 13 first came out, it seemed Reminders notifications would not clear at all; you had to manually do it on the other devices. Now, it does update but it takes minutes to update; it is no longer nearly instantaneous. Is this how it is for everyone now?
In contrast, if I get a Messages notification on my MacBook, hold up my iPhone with the same Messages notification on the lock screen and I click on the one on my MacBook to answer it, the notification instantly disappears on the lock screen on my iPhone. I'm assuming that's the way it should be for Reminders notifications. Does anyone else have this problem?
