See if your iTunes is up to date.

  • Step 1. Open iTunes on your computer > Click Help in the menu bar. 
  • Step 2. Check for Updates > Follow the instructions to install the latest version of iTunes. 
  • Step 3. Reboot your computer after installing the latest iTunes and see if the iTunes error 9 is fixed.
