See if your iTunes is up to date.

Step 1. Open iTunes on your computer > Click Help in the menu bar.
Step 2. Check for Updates > Follow the instructions to install the latest version of iTunes.
Step 3. Reboot your computer after installing the latest iTunes and see if the iTunes error 9 is fixed.
