Help: Global Tool Box Search Virus

For the love of God, please help me. I have been trying to get rid of this virus / malware for weeks now. The virus redirects all of my Google searches to Bing. But the real problem is that it is slowing down my browsers to the point of crashing, and my Mail app is having trouble connecting to the internet since this all started happening. It got so bad, I bought a new Macbook this week. Of course, I didn't think that doing the time machine backup / import would bring along this clove-footed beast, but alas, it's come back with a vengeance.

Ran Norton Anti-Virus: Strikeout, still there.

Ran Antivirus Zap from the App Store: Strikeout, still there. (It did find 4 suspicious files though, which were removed.)

I'm at wits end here. I can see it in the activity monitor, but I have deleted all of the apps / files I know of. Can anyone recommend a good scrubbing program? I really don't want to do a factory reset and just start from scratch after importing all my files to my Box account.

Thank you in advance,
