Multiple downloads from Apple Music using a csv file
How do I download multiple (a few thousand) songs from Apple Music on my Mac (running Catalina) from a list of songs (title and artist) in a flat csv file?

I don't believe that is an option.
The Apple Music interface is based on searching and discovering Music and creating playlists. Once you have created a playlist, you can use that playlist to "bulk" download multiple tracks. They must be in your library first.

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities Richard-ZA,
I see that you have a question about downloading Apple Music. I'd be happy to provide you with some information that ca help answer your question.
You would not be able to download the songs to a csv file because you do not own the songs or content in Apple Music.
You pay for a monthly subscription to access and use the content but you do not own it like you would if you purchased the songs from iTunes.
Listen to music and more in the Apple Music app
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
Hello Stirling r, apology for my brief description.
I don't want to DOWNLOAD songs; I want to search Apple Music for songs in a rather long list I have in a .csv file on my Mac and then, add them to my Music playlist (assuming I have Apple Music subscription so that all is above board.)
As given above there isn't a feature for doing what you want. You will need to manually search for each track or album that you want to add to your Apple Music Library.
