iphone 7 wont turn on

yesterday I shut down my iphone 7 and it still hasn't turned back on. It shows the apple logo for a few seconds then it goes black and repeats. This also happens whenever my phone dies but it has always turned back on in a couple hours. I tried holding down the power and volume button but it does not do anything.
