Question: updating apple details on mac book pro
I'ver recently had to reboot my computer and my system preference is asking me to update apple id settings. I put in my correct password but nothing happens and it keeps asking me to do it again...

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I see you're receiving a notice to update your Apple ID Settings, and I'd like to help out.
I'd suggest going to the Apple ID account page and logging in there first. If successful, verify that all information is correct and up to date.
Then go back to System Preferences, if you receive the same notice and issue, sign out of your Apple ID and sign back in again.
