Question: S/MIME Certificate Matching issue in Macos Apple Mail
I am having an issue with using S/MIME in Macos Apple Mail application.
For some reason, Mail is not able to recognize the certificate corresponding to an email address unless the capitalization is exactly the same.
This causes everyone lots of problems having to change emails addresses constantly received to match the exact case letters.
While there was an an explanation in the past: "The issue is that Apple strictly interprets the RFC governing this feature as "everything to the left of the @ sign should be case sensitive" in S/MIME certificate matching.", today this has no sense as Apple iOS Mail App doesn't follow this criteria and works wonderfully.
Please Apple, change this behaviour in Macos also!
