2011 Macbook Pro - Windows 7 install issues

Hi there.

Hope you're all keeping well!

Please can someone help me with the process of installing windows 7 on my 13 inch early 2011 macbook pro running high sierra.

The first problem I've come up against is that I don't have a Windows CD. I want try it from a thumb drive. I do have two of these.

Thing is boot camp assistant doesn't have an option for creating a Windows 7 thumb drive.

Any ideas?

I've tried something I saw on YouTube which copied bc to desktop and edited a text file. This let me mount the iso to the thumb drive but after partitioning and rebooting I got an error of no bootable disk insert and press any key. So I'm thinking this is clearly not the way to do it.

Any help would be great!

Luke

Thanks

Luke
