Question: iPhone Missing From Apple Order - I think the company made a mistake.

I purchased TWO iPhone 11 Pros from Apple.com (One is missing from the shipment)


I was provided one FedEx tracking number, so it only makes sense that both were supposed to arrive in the same box. I received a delivery notification that both had been delivered and when I retrieved the shipment, the box only had one iPhone in it. The way this iPhone was positioned in the shipping box made it impossible to even fit another iPhone in it. For this reason, I believe Apple literally forgot to ship one of the iPhones.


After a dozen calls to Apple, they concluded that they will not assist me with a refund or replacement. They told me to "take it up with my local law enforcement and its not their problem". Apple ran an investigation of their own and when I asked for the details of this investigation they said they couldn't give me any. I also filed a claim with FedEx which has been useless. I ended up filing a Police report for the missing phone at my local department and they have come to zero conclusions.


The serial number of this missing iPhone is on the invoice I received: C39CC5D6N6XQ


When you go to Apple's website page titled "Check Your Service and Support Coverage", you can enter a products serial number. You'll noticed that when you do this, it states that my missing iPhone has never even been activated yet. If someone were to steal it out of the box, it most likely would have been activated by now considering it's been almost a month since I was supposed to receive it. This is another reason I believe Apple forgot to ship a second phone. I feel like it's sitting in their facility somewhere.


The reason I purchase two is because I wanted my girlfriend to have one. It was supposed to be a surprise and she now feels terrible considering I'm still stuck with my old phone and she has a new one.


I can't believe a company of Apple's caliber is doing nothing to assist me with this matter, telling me to figure this out on my own. Customer service literally lied to me on several occasions and several individuals were kind of rude when I was politely calling for help.


Apple still has my money and I'm still out of an iPhone. It has been an incredibly stressful situation.


Does anyone have any advice?
