Question: Hey siri setup not working
Hello.
I've been trying to set up my "Hey Siri" for a few hours now. It looks like it can not hear any sound when i say "Hey siri" but it works well when i use side button to open it..
So far i have tried: resetting all settings, restoring my ios, tried using headphones microphone, checked screentime for any problems, turned the phone on and off numerous times. Nothing seems to be helping me. I run on the latest iOS 13.4.1.
I recorded voice memos and videos, and my sound is loud and clear. I have been in contact with apple support advisers for 3 hours today, and they could not help me.
When using my old iphone 7 it works like a charm. It hears my voice fine when setting up Hey Siri.
Is this something specific to iPhone XR or is this a software issue? I am getting frustrated by paying so much for a phone that can't work liek it's suposed to.
It feels like phone wont turn on the microphone when i try to set up hey siri.
